On March 9th, Sinopec Tianjin Liquefied Natural Gas Company held the Acceptance and Summary Meeting of Laser Combustible Gas Monitoring System for the laser detection system provided by Hanhai.

The deputy general manager of Sinopec Natural Gas Company, along with heads of various departments, and the general manager and deputy general manager of Sinopec Tianjin Liquefied Natural Gas Company, along with heads of safety and environmental protection departments, participated in the meeting.

In addition, heads of Sinopec Shandong Pipeline Company, Sinopec Longkou Liquefied Natural Gas Company, Sinopec Zhoushan Liquefied Natural Gas Company, Sinopec Guangxi Liquefied Natural Gas Company, Sinopec Engineering Construction Company, Sinopec Fourth Construction Company, and China Tianchen Engineering Company also attended the meeting.

Hanhai National Science and Technology Company, as the equipment manufacturer, also participated in the meeting.

At this meeting, experts Tian Jingshan, the chief editor of SY/T6503-2022, and Wen Kewu, the chief editor of GB/T50493-2019, were invited to give presentations on the "Safety Specification for Combustible Gas and Toxic Gas Detection and Alarm Systems in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering" and "Design Standard for Detection and Alarm of Combustible Gas and Toxic Gas in Petrochemical Industry," respectively.

Moreover, Expert Wen Kewu emphasized the necessity of setting up protective measures for the boundaries of dangerous gas spills, as dangerous gases may have an impact on the surrounding environment.

At the meeting, the user department of Sinopec Tianjin Liquefied Natural Gas Company introduced the sensitivity and reliability of Hanhai's laser equipment experienced in daily use, expressing full recognition for Hanhai's products. Hanhai's laser equipment has withstood the test of severe weather conditions such as wind and snow during the winter supply period and in coastal salt-wet areas, operating smoothly and safely, leaving a deep impression on the participants. The meeting also arranged for a field visit to the site to provide a first-hand experience of the on-site operation.

The deputy general manager of the Natural Gas Company stated that the pilot project of Hanhai's products marks the beginning of promoting the upgrading and renovation of safety equipment. In the future, the company will accelerate the upgrading and renovation of dangerous gas monitoring equipment, aiming to achieve the coverage of laser gas monitoring systems in the field of safety monitoring.
