On January 12, 2024, a major coal and gas outburst accident occurred at the No. 12 mine of Pingdingshan Tian'an Coal Industry Co., Ltd. in Henan Province, resulting in 16 deaths.
According to the Measures for Supervision and Handling of Major Accidents, the State Council Safety Committee issued the Notice of Supervision and Handling of Major Production Safety Accidents on January 21. It requested that relevant departments should quickly organize support and cooperation with the Henan Bureau of the State Mine Safety Administration to investigate the accident, quickly identify the cause of the accident, and strictly study and propose treatment suggestions in accordance with the requirements of accident investigation regulations.
Lecture on Coal and Gas Outburst Disaster
Coal and gas outburst is a powerful natural disaster in underground coal mine production, which seriously threatens the safe production of the coal mine. Because the coal and gas outburst can spray a large amount of coal and gas flow to the working face in a moment, it not only destroys the roadway facilities and ventilation system, but also fills the well near the region with gas and coal dust, resulting in gas asphyxiation or coal flow burial, and even causes serious consequences such as coal dust and gas explosion.
Gas outburst accidents are generally caused by inadequate gas extraction, which requires a device with high detection accuracy and real-time monitoring function.
Laser monitoring system for coal mine gas extraction pipeline
The coal mine gas extraction laser sensor of the coal mine gas extraction pipeline laser monitoring system is installed on the extraction pipeline, which is used to monitor the real-time gas concentration data of the single extraction pipe. The laser control unit is used to emit the detection laser and transmit it to each laser sensor through optical fibers. The data acquisition unit is used to collect the data monitored by the laser sensor in real time, which can be displayed in real time on the liquid crystal screen, and at the same time transmit the monitoring data to the ground monitoring system.
