Hanhai attends 2023 Carbon Measurement & Accounting Tech Conference on invitation from China Measurement & Testing Society's Professional Committee.

On November 25, 2023, the "China Society for Measurement and Testing - Carbon Measurement and Accounting Professional Committee - 2023 Carbon Measurement and Accounting Technology Exchange and Training Conference" co-hosted by the China Society for Measurement and Testing, the National Institute of Metrology, and the China Metrology University was successfully held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Guoke Hanhai Laser Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was invited to participate, and Chairman Li Shuguang had in-depth discussions and exchanges with nearly 200 industry-renowned experts, relevant research institutes, universities, corporate leaders and experts in the field of carbon measurement and accounting from all over the country.

The theme of this conference is "Accurate Carbon Measurement to Help Achieve the Double Carbon Goals". The conference will feature keynote presentations on cutting-edge developments and research results in the fields of greenhouse gas emissions tracing, measurement, and technological innovation, as well as technical exchanges and experience sharing on key industry applications in the field of carbon measurement.
At the meeting, Mr. Li Shuguang, Chairman of Guoke Hanhai Laser Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., gave a speech on the theme of "Application of Laser Absorption Spectroscopy Technology in Carbon Neutrality and Carbon Measurement Scenarios", and discussed the application of advanced carbon measurement technology in key industries with the participating leaders and guests.

Mr. Li Shuguang mentioned in his sharing that for the organized emission scenarios of power plants, garbage disposal plants, etc., the in-situ penetrating laser gas analyzer can be installed on the flue to directly monitor the gas conditions inside the flue online.

For monitoring unorganized emissions of CH4 and CO2 in open areas and parks for oil and gas exploration, fixed reflective laser gas remote sensors can be used. By setting up the area in a timely manner, the gas concentration and emission time generated within the fixed area can be monitored in real time, allowing for the calculation of daily emissions data per square meter within the area.

In addition to monitoring emissions, laser absorption spectroscopy technology can also be applied to the monitoring of atmospheric greenhouse gases such as methane and carbon dioxide. Laser absorption spectroscopy has high resolution and repeatability, and can monitor long-term trace changes in atmospheric greenhouse gases such as methane and carbon dioxide.

For extremely high-precision greenhouse gas monitoring, it is also possible to use the decay oscillating spectroscopy technology, with an optical path of up to 60km and a resolution of ppb level, which can completely replace the picarro greenhouse gas monitoring equipment.
