At around 7 am on November 4th, a fire broke out in a electroplating factory in Yanan Industrial Development Zone, Yueqing, Zhejiang. The fire was most intense on the second and third floors of the building, with thick smoke billowing from the scene. It is reported that there were no casualties.

Electroplating companies use a large amount of hazardous chemicals such as acids, alkalis, highly toxic chemicals, oxidants, flammable and explosive raw materials in their daily production, which involves risks such as poisoning, suffocation, chemical burns, electric shock, fire and explosion. Slight carelessness in use or management may lead to serious production safety accidents.

Due to the presence of many flammable and explosive media in some factories, it is necessary to take precautions during the construction process to better prevent such accidents from occurring.

The fixed reflection laser gas remote meter and fixed scanning laser gas remote meter of Hanhai Optoelectronics are suitable for real-time monitoring of gas leaks in factory construction processes.

The installation of fixed reflective laser gas remote sensors and fixed scanning laser gas remote sensors at the factory boundary can effectively detect the leakage and spillage of dangerous gases. Due to their wide detection range, long distance, and fast response, they are safer and simpler to design and construct than conventional multi-point fixed detectors, and can save investment.

fixed reflection laser gas remote meter

The fixed reflection laser gas remote detector of Hanhai Optoelectronics is integrated with both transmitting and receiving functions, with a detection distance of up to 1 kilometer. The response time is only 1 second, allowing for accurate detection of ppm-level trace leaks. It truly achieves preventative monitoring of gas leaks. Compared to traditional detectors, which are susceptible to environmental and cross-gas interference, it has strong anti-interference capabilities. Fingerprint detection ensures zero false alarms. The product requires no calibration and saves operating costs throughout its lifecycle. It can detect various gases such as methane, ethylene, acetylene, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and more.

The remote sensor integrates laser control, spectrum acquisition, and spectrum analysis. It launches laser light onto a remote monitored object, which is reflected back to the remote sensor. The remote sensor analyzes the returned signal to obtain gas concentration data. It scans in both horizontal and vertical directions using its own rotation, forming a 360-degree three-dimensional monitored area similar to a radar, achieving coverage monitoring of a large area. The detection radius can reach 300 meters. The detection data combined with video images allows managers to "see" the current detection situation, including the location being detected, gas concentration information, and to detect leaks and locate the leakage point through scanning. Multiple scanning modes can be set, and the scanning detection path can be freely set. It operates fully automatically and requires no manual operation. It can perform real-time online monitoring of gases such as methane, ethylene, acetylene, etc.
