Huang Jinsheng, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Emergency Management and Director of the National Mine Safety Administration, Zhou Dechang, Deputy Director of the National Mine Safety Administration, Zhang Xun, Head of the Third Legislative Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, Wang Wansheng, Director of the Policy and Regulation Department of the Ministry of Emergency Management, and Xue Jianguang, Director of the Policy, Law, Science, and Technology Equipment Department of the National Mine Safety Administration, will be invited to introduce the relevant situation of the "Regulations on Safe Production in Coal Mines" and answer questions from the reporters.

In response to the prominent issues currently existing in the coal mining sector, the "Regulations" have made corresponding provisions, including establishing the principles of safe production in coal mines, strengthening the main responsibility of enterprises, and strictly enforcing the supervision responsibilities of government departments.

The "Regulations" will take effect on May 1st of this year.

As a traditionally high-risk industry, coal mining has always been the top priority in safe production work. To prevent accidents before they happen in coal mine safety production, it is necessary to combine the characteristics of the working environment of coal mining enterprises and adopt equipment that is more precise, more sensitive, responsive, and requires no calibration, which is in line with the production characteristics of coal mining enterprises.

Laser Monitoring System for Gas Extraction Pipelines in Coal Mines

The sensors of the laser monitoring system for gas extraction pipelines in coal mines are installed on the extraction pipelines to monitor real-time gas concentration data from individual extraction pipes. The laser control unit emits detection lasers and transmits them through optical fibers to each laser sensor. The data acquisition unit collects data monitored by the laser sensors in real-time, which can be displayed on an LCD screen. Simultaneously, the monitored data is transmitted to the ground-based monitoring system.

Passive Optical Fiber Laser Leak Detection System

A passive optical fiber laser leak detection device is employed in coal mine tunnels. Monitoring terminals are placed at various monitoring points underground and require no power supply, forming a passive online gas leak monitoring network underground. This device serves as a supplementary means for gas monitoring and can still monitor underground gas conditions in the absence of power after a gas accident is detected, providing a basis for emergency rescue operations.
