On December 2, 2016, in an industrial zone in a certain city, Anhui Zhongke Hanhai Opto-electronic Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhongke Hanhai Company) and a certain municipal science and technology commission, a certain municipal safety supervision bureau, a certain municipal natural gas group, a certain university, "Industry-University-Research" units such as the Hefei Institute of Material Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences gathered to discuss the feasibility and applicability of the "Laser Monitoring System for Urban Gas Pipeline Networks". The seminar was scientific and rigorous, and people from all walks of life fully affirmed the laser monitoring system to ensure the safety of urban gas from different angles.
At the meeting, researcher Kan Ruifeng of the Hefei Institute of Material Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences took the lead in introducing the laser TDLAS technology, which is currently the most advanced gas monitoring technology in the world, and the status of the application of this technology in many fields at home and abroad. He also introduced the research institute and the Zhongke Hanhai Company. The process of developing the "Laser Monitoring System for Urban Natural Gas Pipeline Network" and the specific situation of its application.
Li Youan, vice president of Zhongke Hanhai, introduced to people from all walks of life at the meeting that the "Urban Natural Gas Pipeline Network Laser Monitoring System" has the advantage of comparing laser technology products with traditional products. Laser technology products have many advanced technical advantages such as passive monitoring, fast response, high detection sensitivity, strong anti-interference ability, no false alarms, long service life, and maintenance-free, which can fill a number of technical gaps in gas monitoring. Traditional electrochemical and infrared technology products cannot meet the requirements of large-scale urban monitoring and many monitoring methods. The "City Gas Pipeline Laser Monitoring System" has passed the technical appraisal of the State Administration of Work Safety and has been included in four batches of promotion projects of the State Administration of Work. It has been used in Beijing, Dalian and other places, and has achieved ideal results.
The meeting achieved positive results. As a laser technology product, the "Laser Monitoring System for Urban Gas Pipeline Networks" was praised by a certain city's natural gas group. The two parties intend to cooperate from the perspective of city gas safety to demonstrate and pilot the operation system. A university and our company will also carry out in-depth cooperation in laser technology in the field of public safety.
