Beijing Gao'antun Waste Incineration Project
Guoke Hanhai Assists Beijing Enterprises Group in Fortifying the Safety Line of Confined Spaces
In the scenario of waste incineration power generation, confined spaces such as waste leachate collection areas are the top priority of safety management and control. The underground enclosed environment is prone to the accumulation of flammable and toxic gases such as methane and hydrogen sulfide. Excessive concentrations may trigger risks such as explosions and personnel poisoning, imposing stringent requirements on the accuracy and stability of monitoring equipment.
In January 2026, Guoke Hanhai successfully delivered a set of laser monitoring system for flammable and toxic gases to Beijing Gao'antun Waste Incineration Power Plant affiliated to Beijing Enterprises Group. With the combined solution of "fixed monitoring + mobile inspection", it has built an all-time, all-round safety protection network for the waste leachate collection area 4 meters underground.
Scenario Pain Points

The "Invisible Risks" of Confined Spaces
As a typical confined space, the waste leachate collection area has three core safety pain points:
Extreme environment: The underground enclosed space features high humidity and high corrosion, where traditional sensors are prone to damage and severe data drift, leading to high maintenance costs.
Hidden risks: Methane (flammable and explosive) and hydrogen sulfide (highly toxic) are colorless and odorless, making it difficult to detect excessive concentrations in a timely manner and thus easily triggering safety accidents.
High compliance requirements: As a key pollutant discharge unit, it must meet the Administrative Provisions on the Application of Automatic Monitoring Data of Domestic Waste Incineration Power Plants to ensure that monitoring data is true, accurate and traceable.

Hanhai Solution
"Fixed + Handheld" Dual-Mode

Tailored to the scenario requirements, Guoke Hanhai customizes and delivers a laser monitoring system to achieve dual guarantees of "real-time early warning + precise inspection":
Fixed reflective laser monitor (for methane and hydrogen sulfide): Specifically designed for underground confined spaces, it is directly installed in the leachate collection area 4 meters below ground. Relying on TDLAS laser spectroscopy technology, it can realize ppm-level trace detection with a data error ≤ ±3%, without being interfered by high-humidity and corrosive environments. The system presets multi-level alarm thresholds. Once the gas concentration exceeds the standard, an alarm will be triggered immediately, making safety risks "visible and detectable in advance".
Handheld laser telemeter for methane: Suitable for daily inspection scenarios, it is compact in size and easy to operate, allowing inspectors to carry it around. Also based on the core TDLAS technology, its response speed and detection accuracy are far superior to traditional handheld devices. Inspectors can conduct monitoring without entering risky areas, quickly check the blind spots of fixed monitoring, make up for the coverage deficiency of "point monitoring", and make inspection work more efficient and reliable.
Core Value
Dual Compliance with Safety and Regulatory Requirements

The implementation of this monitoring system has brought three core benefits to Beijing Gao'antun Waste Incineration Plant:
Safety upgrade: With millisecond-level rapid response, it shifts from "passive response" to "active prevention", completely eliminating safety accidents caused by gas leakage in confined spaces. Moreover, it realizes 24/7 uninterrupted real-time online monitoring, supporting the central control background and mobile phones to view data in real time at any time.
Compliance assurance: The monitoring data is true and traceable, fully meeting the compliance requirements of environmental protection departments for automatic monitoring data, and providing "hard evidence" for the compliant operation of the enterprise.
Hassle-free operation and maintenance: The equipment has no consumables and strong corrosion resistance, with a service life of up to 10 years, greatly reducing the cost of frequent maintenance and equipment replacement.
As a precision sensing service provider in the field of industrial safety monitoring, Guoke Hanhai has always taken TDLAS laser spectroscopy technology as the core, focused on the safety pain points of different scenarios, and provided customized monitoring solutions. This cooperation with Beijing Gao'antun Waste Incineration Plant is a successful practice of Hanhai's technology in the field of solid waste treatment.
In the future, Guoke Hanhai will continue to deepen its layout in the industrial safety and environmental monitoring track, providing "true, fast and stable" gas data monitoring services for more scenarios such as waste incineration, sewage treatment and chemical parks, helping enterprises build a solid safety line and achieve compliance and efficiency improvement.
