Old electrochemical or catalytic combustion gas leakage detectors are still used in government organs and school canteens. But over time, these detectors quickly became useless because they had no professional maintenance. Laser absorption spectrum detection technology
Laser detection technology is based on the principle of specific light absorption by gas molecules Beer's law is an advanced technology in the detection of beer's law. This technology makes up for all the technical defects of catalytic combustion, electrochemistry and infrared.
Laser safety monitoring system
The system consists of laser monitoring platform, passive laser detector and solenoid valve. The monitoring platform is located in the property monitoring center, the passive laser detector is located in the gas and fire unit, and the solenoid valve is located at the inlet of the unit's gas pipeline. The platform is connected with the detector and solenoid valve by optical fiber to form a gas safety monitoring network. In case of gas leakage, the system will immediately drive the solenoid valve to cut off the gas source to prevent combustion and explosion. When the unit air of gas and fire reaches the safety standard, the system will automatically restore the air supply.

The detection technology of laser absorption spectrum is still developing in the world. One belt, one road, will be exported to the Central Asian countries by the joint venture between Anhui science and technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. They have won the second prize of national safety science and technology. The technology has been applied in PetroChina, CNOOC, Beijing gas and Guangzhou Gas in recent two years. In particular, the urban gas pipe network inspection and monitoring system developed by the company has not only been evaluated as "domestic leading and international advanced" by the State Administration of work safety, but also been widely recognized by the gas industry. The laser monitoring system of urban gas pipe network is an urban management system and a series of laser products developed based on the concept of large pipe network, which greatly improves the safety level of urban gas pipe network. At present, an unattended and intelligent laser safety monitoring system is being designed for the Qinghai Tibet gas transmission pipeline.
At present, several domestic enterprises introducing technology from the United States can also provide laser technology products to urban gas, but the technical indicators need to be verified and the products are not in series. Laser technology products such as abb, German digital micro, Hans of the United States and Tokyo gas of Japan are imported from abroad, but the level is not high in terms of technical parameters and technical methods.
