Hanhai Opto-electronic is a major scientific research achievement transformation institution of the Hefei Institute of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
On August 25, 2021, the construction of Hanhai optoelectronics and a gas transmission station transformation and upgrading demonstration project of a natural gas company in Anhui Province was completed.
The natural gas company started the station reconstruction and upgrading project in 2021. Hanhai optoelectronics uses international advanced laser absorption spectroscopy technology to help the construction of smart stations and provide intelligent early warning solutions for the safe operation of its gas transmission stations.

Laser absorption spectrum technology is the most advanced gas detection technology in the world. Hanhai photoelectric Department is the holding enterprise of national laser absorption spectrum detection scientific research achievements, and is the leader in technology and market application in this field. The products and technologies are always at the forefront of the R & D and application of laser spectroscopy technology in the world, and have obtained the domestic leading and international advanced appraisal results recognized by the former State Administration of work safety.
Compared with traditional dangerous gas monitoring methods, the main advantages of laser gas detection technology and products are: taking laser as the working principle, it can realize large-scale, regional level, active and high-sensitivity monitoring, and resist electromagnetic interference. In terms of monitoring accuracy, reaction speed, operation and maintenance cost, ease of use, service cycle, etc., compared with the existing technology, it can improve the essence, comprehensively improve the safe operation level of the enterprise, and then improve the economic benefits of the enterprise.
