The newly revised production safety law of the people's Republic of China came into force on September 1 this year, which makes it mandatory for production and business units in catering and other industries to install combustible gas alarm devices. Article 36 of the new production safety law clearly stipulates: "if production and business units in catering and other industries use fuel gas, they shall install combustible gas alarm devices and ensure their normal use."

According to the data, there are numerous dangerous accidents caused by gas leakage in the catering industry, resulting in serious property losses and casualties. The lesson is extremely profound.

However, the current management difficulty is the weak safety awareness and loose management of gas use in catering stores in sporadic tourist areas, which brings safety risks. At present, the most immediate and effective way is to replace civil air defense with technical defense. Use the most advanced technical means to monitor the full coverage of gas involved in urban catering, and rely on people's consciousness to a minimum.
