In May 2024, Henan Gas Development Co., Ltd. completed the installation and commissioning of two fixed scanning laser gas telemeters at Dengzhou Station and Zhenping Station. Unaffected by environmental factors such as temperature, humidity and interfering gases, the telemeters effectively make up for the shortcomings of traditional point detection devices, including limited coverage and delayed response. The commissioning of these devices not only enhances the accuracy and timeliness of gas leak early warning at the two stations, allowing for more time to be secured for emergency response, but also improves the smart safety monitoring system of the stations. It provides reliable technical support for the safe and stable operation of core processes such as gas storage and transmission & distribution.
