As a critical hub in the oil and gas transmission chain, the Layisu Station of Sinopec Northwest Oilfield Company undertakes core processes including oil and gas reception, pressure regulation, metering and outward transportation. In May 2021, the station launched a gas leakage monitoring system upgrade project, introducing fixed scanning laser gas telemeters to build a real-time, online and visual laser leakage monitoring system. The application of fixed scanning laser gas telemeters at the Layisu Station has successfully established a real-time, online and visual gas leakage monitoring system, effectively addressing the limitations of traditional monitoring methods. It not only enhances the accuracy, real-time performance and comprehensiveness of gas leakage monitoring at the station, but also strengthens the safety production defense line, providing robust technical support for the safe and stable operation of oil and gas stations.
