From December 2023 to February 2024, at the process equipment area of the terminal of Sinopec Tianjin LNG Co., Ltd., a total of six (methane) fixed scanning-type laser gas remote detectors were installed, specifically one on the top of Tank No. 5, one in the metering and export area, one in the IFV area, one in the SCV area, and two in the compressor plant area. Additionally, four (methane) fixed reflection-type laser gas remote detectors were installed, with two on the top of the main pipe gallery and two in the tanker loading area. Moreover, six (methane, solar-powered) IoT-enabled laser gas leakage monitoring instruments were deployed, with five in the Phase II SCV process equipment area and one in the fuel gas electric heater area. Five portable remote telemetry laser methane detectors were also provided, enabling rapid detection of suspicious leak points within the terminal area at any time.
