During the 2021 Xi'an Universiade held in September, public security assurance in densely populated urban areas attracted significant attention. As a critical energy infrastructure of the city, the operational safety of gas pressure regulating boxes and cabinets is directly tied to the protection of public lives and property during the event.

To further strengthen gas safety prevention and control capabilities and elevate the level of safety management, Qinua Gas entered into a strategic cooperation with Hanhai. A batch of independently developed laser gas leak detectors was installed on gas pressure regulating boxes and cabinets in densely populated areas across Xi'an. Leveraging the detectors' high-precision monitoring performance and real-time data transmission functions, a centralized management system covering pressure regulating facilities in key areas was established, enabling unified monitoring, data aggregation, and anomaly early warning for the city’s large number of pressure regulating cabinets. This collaboration successfully built a comprehensive gas leak monitoring system, breaking through the constraints of the traditional decentralized management model for pressure regulating facilities and achieving real-time oversight of the operational status of pressure regulating boxes and cabinets in key areas. Through the accurate detection of laser gas leak detectors and the efficient dispatching of the centralized management platform, the efficiency of gas safety hazard identification and early warning capabilities were effectively enhanced. It provided solid support for gas safety assurance during the Xi'an Universiade and significantly upgraded the overall level of urban gas safety management.
