(Methane) Mobile Passive Laser Detection System As a compact high-risk gas detection device equipped with Hanhai's proprietary passive detection core technology, it is specifically designed for the accurate detection of hazardous gases in underground engineering scenarios such as tunnel excavation and underground coal seam mining. Prior to engineering construction, the system can efficiently detect hazardous methane gas in the rock formations and coal seams ahead, enabling rapid response without complex deployment.
As a mobile detection device, the system supports on-site real-time data collection, analysis and presentation, eliminating the need for lengthy data transmission and processing cycles. It helps construction teams grasp the gas distribution and concentration in real time and make quick decisions on construction plans—if the gas concentration meets safety standards, excavation work can proceed directly; if there is a risk of exceeding the standard, the gas extraction process can be activated promptly, and construction can resume after hidden dangers are eliminated. This avoids safety accidents caused by gas leakage from the source, ensuring the safety of construction personnel and the efficiency of project progress.

1. Pre-excavation Detection for Tunnel Engineering
Suitable for the pre-construction phase of various tunnels such as highway, railway and water conservancy projects, it accurately detects methane gas in the rock formations ahead of the tunnel face, avoiding explosion and poisoning risks caused by sudden gas leakage during excavation, and ensuring the safe progress of tunnel construction.
2. Pre-mining Detection for Underground Coal Seam Mining
Targeted at the gas inspection needs prior to mining in coal mine stoping faces and driving faces, it detects hidden methane-enriched areas in coal seams and surrounding rocks, provides data support for formulating mining plans, and prevents gas overflow from endangering the safety of operators during coal mining.
3. Emergency Detection for Underground Engineering
If abnormal gas warnings occur during tunnel or mine construction, the system can be quickly moved to suspected areas for supplementary detection, accurately locates the source and concentration distribution of hazardous gases, and provides real-time data support for emergency responses such as gas extraction and personnel evacuation.
4. Pre-recovery Detection for Old/Abandoned Mine Roadways
Conducts environmental safety assessments before the re-mining of old mines and abandoned roadways, detects accumulated hazardous gases such as methane in rock and coal seams in long-term enclosed environments, identifies potential safety hazards during re-mining, and ensures the safe implementation of re-mining operations.
5. Pre-construction Detection for Underground Space Development Projects
Applicable to the pre-construction phase of underground space projects such as urban underground utility tunnels and underground complexes, it detects methane gas in surrounding rock formations and original geological structures, avoids gas leakage caused by construction disturbances, and ensures the safety of underground project construction.
The sensor host integrates laser signal transmission and reception in a compact form factor, enabling flexible placement, easier installation and relocation.
Each detection channel has a response time of only 10 seconds and can accurately detect ppm-level trace gas leaks, truly achieving preventive gas leakage monitoring.
It is suitable for operation in mine working areas and supports real-time multi-channel transmission and reception (up to 8 channels).
It can conduct on-site detection in real time and display the detection data.
The detector is a purely optical component with non-loss characteristics.
